Abstract

The present invention disclosed an apparatus about spread spectrum communication system, including Base Station Controller, centralized baseband system and RF system. The stated centralized baseband system is connected with the stated Base Station Controller through special interface; the stated centralized baseband system includes: a minimum of one baseband subsystem, clock subsystem that provides the clock signal for the stated baseband subsystem; the stated baseband subsystem is connected with RF system through internal interface. Since the invention partly centralizes the baseband system of several base stations and reduces the quantity of base station and the interface between base station and base station controller, the centralized baseband system and RF system are completely independent which is convenient for base station deployment; RF system is more close to the antenna and feeder which reduces the loss of antenna and feeder and the power requirement of base station; the base station can be installed with the base station controller at the same spot without the geographic area of RF system, which saves operator's cost and improves the maintainability.
