Problems solved by technology

The disadvantage of this method is that a complex mechanism is required to determine which data has been sent to the UE after handover, and the multicast process will occupy additional target cell resources, greatly reducing the system capacity

Embodiment Construction

[0019] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a system structure according to the present invention, including a user plane protocol stack structure of a source base station, a target base station, and an access gateway. Wherein, the words "AGW user plane", "source E-Node B user plane" and "target E-Node B user plane" in the figure are the titles of each part in the figure, rather than components. The figure respectively illustrates the user plane protocol stack structure and connection relationship of the three nodes. It is not ruled out that the protocol stack also includes other protocol layers, and only the protocol layers related to the present invention are drawn in this figure.

[0020] As shown in Fig. 1, a source base station, a target base station and an access gateway (AGW) are interconnected with each other. The source base station E-Node B (Node B) user plane protocol stack 120 includes a MAC layer 121 and a physical layer 128, wherein, the MAC layer 121 is provided wi...

Abstract

The disclosed mobile management method for ARQ in3G communication comprises: setting ARQ first-level buffer memory in SBS (source base station) and OBS (objective base station) respectively, and a second-level buffer memory in PDCP layer; 1. SBS decides the switch threshold comes, and notifies the access gate to synchronize ARQ buffer memory, and the latter stores PDCP PDU in the second-level buffer; 2. SBS decides the switch strategy comes, and notifies the gateway switch BS; and 3 after switching, the access gate sends the PDCP PDU to the OBS to buffer in the ARQ first-level buffer memory and generate MAC PDU. This invention can reduce time delay and system overhead.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of digital mobile communication, in particular to a mobility management method for an automatic retransmission request in a third-generation mobile communication long-term evolution system. Background technique [0002] The user plane of the third-generation mobile communication long-term evolution system uses a mechanism combining the upper-layer automatic repeat request (ARQ) entity and the lower-layer hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) entity to achieve reliable transmission. When the ARQ entity is located at the base station, in the case of base station handover, currently known mobility management solutions include base station forwarding and multicasting. [0003] Among them, the working principle of the base station forwarding mode is: when the source base station judges that the measurement report of the user equipment (UE) reaches the handover decision threshold, it forwards all the protocol dat...
