Abstract

The invention relates to a method of homogenizing heat treatment to eliminate the 7000 series aluminum alloy ingot casting crystallization phase, namely exerting the higher static pressure to the ingot casting at the same time carrying on homogenizing processing. The method comprising four stages of the ingot casting preheating, pressurizes, homogenizing processing, and cools. Preheating temperature range is 250-450 Deg. C, the soaking time is about 10min-2h, and the low exerting pressure limit is no less than 500MPa, while homogenizing temperature is in 500-850 Deg. C, soaking time is about 15min-2h. Also may adopt the maintenance homogenizing pressure, until the ingot casting cools the belt presses cooling, or the belt pressure cools to the aluminum alloy atmospheric pressure below fusion temperature, and again carries on the release pressure to cool two different ways.
