Abstract

An optical sensor comprises a sensing element, a timing control unit and a fourier conversion unit. The sensing element can sense and detect objects that have relative displacement according to a modulating signal then output a sensing signal depending on the objects that have relative displacement. The sensing signal comprises a first part sensing signal that is corresponding to a first timing period and a second part sensing signal that is corresponding to a second timing period. The timing control unit receives the sensing signal and captures the first part sensing signal and the second part sensing signal to process signals to output a data signal which comprises a first digital data signal corresponding to the first part sensing signal with the same timing as a second digital data signal corresponding with the second part sensing signal. The fourier conversion unit receives the data signal and leads the fourier conversion towards the first and second digital data signals to generate a needed signal frequency spectrum analysis.
