Abstract

The invention discloses an electromagnetic shielding material containing a carbon nano-tube and a method for manufacturing the electromagnetic shielding material by adopting the technology of chemical plating. The electromagnetic shielding material consists of the carbon nano-tube, metallic iron and metallic cobalt. The mass percent of the metallic iron in the electromagnetic shielding material accounts for 5 to 10; the mass percent of the metallic iron in the electromagnetic shielding material accounts for 10 to 15 and the carbon nano-tube accounts for the other mass percent. The electromagnetic shielding material made by the technology of chemical plating is 2 to 3mm in thickness, absorption strength is 30 to 40dB, band width is 5 to 18GHz and the density of the electromagnetic shielding material is 2.2 to 3.0g / cm<3>.
