specific Embodiment approach 1

[0023] Specific embodiment one: the method for producing corn stalk feedstuff in the present embodiment is as follows: in the mature period (within 40 days) of corn growth and development, take the leaf annulus of the 2nd leaf above the ear upper leaf as a benchmark, upward 2 The tops of the plants (including the upper corn leaves, stalks and tassels) were clipped off at ~3 mm for harvested corn stover feed.

[0024] In the present embodiment, the 2nd leaf above the leaf on the ear is the 3rd corn leaf counting upwards with the ear position leaf as the zero point.

[0025] In the middle and late stages of wax ripening, high-quality corn stalk feed with a crude protein content of more than 5% can be obtained by using the method of removing leaves without affecting the yield of corn kernels.

specific Embodiment approach 2

[0026] Specific embodiment two: the difference between this embodiment and specific embodiment one is that the method for producing corn stalk feed can also remove the corn leaves below the ear and the next leaf, as harvested corn, while removing the top of the plant straw feed. Others are the same as in the first embodiment.

[0027] In the present embodiment, the next leaf of the lower leaf of the ear is the second corn leaf counting downwards with the ear position leaf as the zero point.

[0028] In the middle and late stages of ripening, high-quality corn stalk feed with a crude protein content of 5% to 6% can be obtained by using the method of removing leaves without affecting the yield of corn kernels.

specific Embodiment approach 3

[0029] Specific embodiment three: the method for producing corn stalk feedstuff in the present embodiment is as follows: in the mature period (within 40 days) of corn growth and development, take the leaf annulus of the 1st leaf above the ear upper leaf as a benchmark, upward 2 The tops of the plants were cut off at ~3 mm for harvested corn stover feed.

[0030] In the present embodiment, the first leaf above the leaf on the ear is the second corn leaf counting upwards from the ear position leaf as the zero point.

[0031] In the middle and late stages of ripening, high-quality corn stalk feed with a crude protein content of 5% to 6% can be obtained by using the method of removing leaves without affecting the yield of corn kernels.

Abstract

A corn stalk feed production method relates to a method for harvesting high-quality corn stalk feed, which obtains the high-quality corn stalk feed without decreasing the corn grain yield and even in the case of increasing the production yield. The invention solves the problem of forage shortage. The method comprises the following steps: in the stage of wax ripeness (within 40 days) of the corn growth and development, the top end of the plant is cut off at a 2-3mm distance from the leaf ring of the upper leaf (or two leaves) above the ear leaf and/or the corn leaves below the ear leaf (or the lower leaf below the ear leaf) are removed to serve as the corn stalk feed. In the invention, the crude protein content of the straw reaches 5%-9%, and the yield is up to 1.42-2.23 t/ha. The method has simple process and low investment, which is easy to grasp and promote; therefore, the invention provides a new approach for farmland management and healthy grassland maintenance, which alleviates the conflict between grass and livestock and provides a high-quality feed resource for the livestock production.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for harvesting high-quality corn stalk feed. Background technique [0002] Grassland degraded seriously in the transition zone of agriculture and animal husbandry, the main reason is the contradiction between grass and livestock, that is, more livestock but less grass. Sustainability of grasslands requires two aspects: first, reducing stocking capacity; and second, finding ways to increase feed production. Reducing livestock carrying capacity is not conducive to economic development and is not feasible; therefore, increasing feed resources and producing more and better feed are the fundamental measures to alleviate the contradiction between grass and livestock and restore degraded grassland. [0003] Corn is an important food crop, and its sown area and total output rank third in the world, second only to wheat and rice. Corn is also the most widely used food crop, the most developed products, and the largest amount ...
