The solar charging system comprises a solar module, a microcontroller and a linear voltage regulator; the solar module is used for receiving light and generating a first voltage and a first current via photoelectric conversion; the microcontroller comprises an analogue digital conversion unit and a universal input and output unit, the analogue digital conversion unit is used for converting the first voltage into a digital voltage signal, the microcontroller has a voltage threshold value; when the digital voltage signal is larger than the voltage threshold value, the universal input and output unit outputs a starting signal, the linear voltage regulator is electrically connected with the solar module and the microprocessor respectively; when the linear voltage regulator receives the starting signal, the linear voltage regulator is started to generate a second voltage and a second current which are used for charging the battery module.
