Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of: generating an alkali metal gas atom which is transmitted by a transition spectral line between a first excited state and a ground state in a pump light pump steam chamber through an alkali metal gas electrodeless lamp, so that the alkali metal gas atom in the steam chamber is transited to the first excited state, wherein the type of the alkali metal gas charged into the alkali metal gas electrodeless lamp is as the same as that of the alkali metal gas in the steam chamber; migrating the alkali metal gas atom in the steam chamber from the first excited state to a second excited state which is near to the first excited state to form into the inversion of distribution number between the second excited state and the ground state through the collision function between the other gas atom and/or gas molecules mixed in the steam chamber and the alkali metal gas atom in the steam chamber; and outputting an alkali metal gas laser with a frequency which corresponds to the transition spectral line between the second excited state and the ground state.
