Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of: (1) lapping a steel plate and a magnesium alloy plate by using a friction head without a stirring bar so that the steel plate is above the magnesium alloy plate; (2) driving the friction head to carry out rotary friction on the steel plate for 1-15 s, and generating heat so that the steel plate is softened; (3) downwardly pressing the friction head and extruding the steel plate, staying for 1-15 s on the depth when the lower surface of the friction head is downwardly pressed at the position which is 0.1-0.4 mm far away from the upper surface of the steel plate, and effectively removing oxides on the surface of the material through the top forging force of the friction head and thermoplastic flow of friction generated by the rotation friction between the friction head and the steel plate so that the steel-magnesium interface is clean; and (4) generating plastic deformation of the magnesium and steel contact surface by utilizing the top forging force and the rotary friction of the friction head so that the steel plate at the joint forms a stirring region and the magnesium alloy does not have an obvious stirring region, rising the friction head, completing welding, and obtaining a spot welded joint without a key hole.
