Abstract

The invention discloses a double-component double-layer composite damping material. The second material layer comprises: by weight, 28 to 32% of an ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM), 58 to 62% of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), 1% of a promoter (DM), 1% of an antioxidant (D), 1% of zine stearate, 4% of sulphur, 1% of toner and 2% of naphthenic oil. The double-component double-layer composite damping material is utilized mainly for noise reduction and vibration damping of a high-precision apparatus in mechanical equipment, the interior of high-speed locomotives and various vibration sources of ships and warships, and for preparation of high-elasticity vibration-damping base plates of a high-speed rail. Compared with the same type of other products, the double-component double-layer composite damping material has the characteristics of prominent performances of middle-low frequency noise reduction, light product weight, wide damping temperature range, wide noise reduction frequency range, and good aging resistance.
