The invention discloses a porous honeycomb spongy biological bed and an installation method thereof. A spongy material for the biological bed is made into a cuboid or cube block; a horizontal plane is provided with a plurality of vertical sewage holes; a large quantity of small holes are formed in a space where the sewage holes are not formed in the spongy block; sludge for growing bacteria and accommodating bacterial communities is filled into the small holes; the biological bed can be used for making polyurethane sponge, cement, pottery clay or fire rock; strengthened aggregate can be added into the polyurethane sponge; a plurality of cube blocks are piled into a large cube; the sewage holes on upper and lower cuboid or cubes are communicated over against each other; and a steel rib, a rope or a pipe is used for connecting a plurality of cuboids or cubes into a biological bed string which can be tightly fixed in a sewage pool in a multipoint suspension way. The spongy material and a porous honeycomb structure are most suitable for the adhesion and growth of sludge containing bacteria; after sewage treatment is performed, a specific surface is not decreased greatly; and a regularly hexagonal porous honeycomb structure is adopted, so that a specific surface area between bacteria and sewage is largest, a utilization ratio is highest, and sewage flow property is high. The porous honeycomb spongy biological bed is applied to a sewage treatment system.
