Abstract

The invention discloses leather essence for synthetic leather and a preparation method thereof. The leather essence comprises, by mass, 15 to 25 parts of birch tar oil, 2 to 3 parts of santal 208, 4 to 6 parts of ladanum extract, 3 to 5 parts of vetiver oil, 2 to 6 parts of cedar wood oil, 2 to 6.5 parts of methyl cedryl ketone, 5 to 9.5 parts of patchouli oil, 5.5 to 10 parts of guaiacol, 3 to 6parts of musk T, 3 to 6 parts of musk ketone, 5 to 7 parts of indole, 0.2 to 0.5 part of citral, 0.5 to 3 parts of geraniol, 0.6 to 3 parts of citronellol, 0.5 to 2 parts of linalyl acetate, 2 to 5 parts of petit grain oil, 2 to 5.5 parts of rosewood oil, 2 to 3 parts of oak moss extract, 1 to 3 parts of phenylethyl alcohol, 3 to 4.5 parts of nonanoic acid, 2 to 6 parts of caprylic acid and 2 to 7 parts of methyl benzoate. The preparation method is to uniformly mix and blend the above mentioned perfume materials so as to obtain the leather essence with a smell similar to that of natural leather.
