Abstract

The invention provides a circuit for detecting a peak value of a sine wave. The circuit comprises a sine wave peak value comparison circuit and a logic control circuit, wherein the sine wave peak value comparison circuit comprises comparators COM2 and COM3, an N-channel metal oxide semiconductor (NMOS) tube M1, a P-channel metal oxide semiconductor (PMOS) tube M2, current sources IB1 and IB2 and capacitors C1 and C2; and the logic control circuit comprises comparators COM1, COM4 and COM5, logic devices from I1 to I11 and a Delay circuit. On the basis of detection for the peak value of the sine wave, the circuit is integrated in a chip easily, so that an area of a printed circuit board (PCB) is reduced; and therefore, the manufacturing cost is reduced.
