Abstract

The invention provides a high-temperature experimental apparatus and a method for research on mechanism of the influence of continuous casting soft-reduction to a casting blank solidification structure, belonging to the technical field of continuous casting in steelmaking. The high-temperature experimental apparatus is characterized by implementing a high-temperature experiment which is extremelyclose to field conditions at the steelmaking temperature of 1500-1600 DEG C and the high-temperature experimental apparatus has the characteristics of being smart in design and high in safety factor,experiment precision and repeatability. The method is easy to operate; the size of different movable walls and detachable fixed walls as well as the shape of the inner cavity of a casting mould body is designed as required; and the casting blanks with different sections are subjected to soft-reduction at different positions. The high-temperature experimental apparatus and the method are suitable for application and generalization and can implement continuous casting soft-reduction in a laboratory; experimental data can be saved in a real-time manner and experimental samples meet various inspection requirements; and the high-temperature experimental apparatus and the method have significance in deep research on the mechanism of continuous casting soft-reduction.
