The controller comprises a valve body mounted on a main, and a power assisting device which can open, close or adjust the valve body is mounted on the main as well; and the power assisting device sequentially comprises an inlet pressure sensor, a first electromagnetic valve bank, a power assisting mechanism, a second electromagnetic valve bank and an outlet pressure sensor which are connected through a power assisting pipeline. The control method includes the following steps: (a) the inlet pressure sensor and the outlet pressure sensor acquire the pressure on both sides of the valve body in real time, and judge whether pressure difference is forward or backward or does not exist; and the pressure difference is utilized to open or close the first electromagnetic valve bank and the second electromagnetic valve bank; (b) after entering the power assisting mechanism via the opened electromagnetic valves and the power assisting pipeline, fluid drives a valve rod to rotate or move up and down, so that the valve body is opened, closed or adjusted.
