Embodiment 1

[0165] (Example 1) Manufacture of dispensers

[0166] (1) Manufacture of clog-shaped applicators

[0167] Such as Figure 7 As shown in , the sides (5 x 30 mm) of two rectangular columns (3 x 5 x 30 mm) made of acrylic were adhered to the peripheral portion of a rectangular flat plate (30 x 40 mm, 2 mm thickness) made of acrylic to form the skin fixation member . Thus, a clog-shaped applicator with a height of 3 mm was prepared. A perspective view of the resulting clog-shaped applicator is shown in Figure 8 . The area (skin raised portion) surrounded by two rectangular columns (skin fixing members) was 30×30 mm.

[0168] (2) Manufacture of four-corner applicator (a)

[0169] Such as Figure 9 As shown in , the tops of four hemispheres (3 mm diameter) made of acrylic were adhered to the four corners of a square plate made of acrylic (30×30 mm, 2 mm thickness) to form the skin fixation member. A quadrangular applicator having a hemispherical height of 3 m...

Embodiment 2

[0174] (Example 2) Manufacture of various applicators and lift-up distance on the skin during pressing

[0175] Prepared according to Example 1 figure 1 Various applicators shown in . These applicators were used and placed on the skin of the arm, then pressed down about 12 mm from where they were placed so that they pressed against the skin. Then, the raised height of the skin (the raised distance of the skin) was measured with a caliper.

[0176] As shown in Tables 1-5, various devices were prepared in which the type of applicator and the size of the skin area surrounded by the skin fixing member were varied. Here, the height of the skin fixing member is appropriately selected according to the size of the area surrounded by the skin fixing member.

[0177] (1) Clog shaped applicator

[0178] Various types of clog-shaped applicators prepared according to Example 1(1) were used and pressed against the skin. Then, the raised height of the skin (the raised distance of the...

Embodiment 3

[0200] (Example 3) Preparation of various microneedle devices

[0201] (1) Clog-shaped microneedle device

[0202] Such as Figure 20 Shown in, to the preparation in embodiment 1 (1) Figure 8 The clog-shaped applicator, with four triangular double-sided tape set round tape. Then, a 10 mm diameter circular sword mountain-shaped microneedle was set in the center of the 23 mm circular tape. obtained from this Figure 14 The clog-shaped microneedle device shown in .

[0203] (2) Four-corner microneedle device

[0204] In the same manner as above (1), to the prepared in Example 1 (2) Figure 10 The clog-shaped applicator, with four triangular double-sided tape set round tape. Then, a 10 mm diameter circular sword mountain-shaped microneedle was set in the center of the 23 mm circular tape. obtained from this Figure 15 The quadrangular microneedle device shown in .

Abstract

Provided is a microneedle device which protects microneedles, has an easily portable shape, is free from such problems as breakage of fine needles in the step of puncturing the skin with the microneedles, and ensures appropriate skin puncture to administer a drug. By studying the relationship between the device to be pressed to the skin and the height of the elevation of the skin surface during the pressing, it is found that there is a positive correlation between the placement and interval of skin fixation members and the height of the elevation of the skin. It is furthermore found that the elevated skin surface is always parallel to the flat plate of the device. This reveals that since the microneedles installed at the device can be inserted at right angle to the skin surface, the skin can reliably be punctuated avoiding the breakage etc. of the fine needles of the microneedles. Thus, a microneedle patch which is easily portable and ensures convenient drug administration to the skin can be produced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an applicator for effectively piercing skin using kenzan-shaped microneedles. In addition, the present invention also relates to a method of sticking a patch using a mountain-shaped microneedle. Background technique [0002] The transdermal administration of drugs is usually realized by using a preparation for transdermal administration in the form of a solution or ointment that is coated or pasted on the skin surface. In humans, the skin generally includes many tissues: the stratum corneum (keratinized layer) with a layered structure 10-30 μm thick, the epidermal tissue layer about 70 μm thick, and the dermal tissue layer about 2 mm thick. [0003] The stratum corneum is the layered structure that constitutes the outermost layer of the skin, and functions as a barrier layer that prevents the penetration of various drugs into the skin. Typically, about 50-90% of the skin's barrier effect is due to the stratum corneum....
