Abstract

The invention discloses a high-fluidity low-warpage liquid crystal polymer composition and a preparation method as well as application thereof. The high-fluidity low-warpage liquid crystal polymer composition comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 20-70 percent of thermotropic liquid crystal polymer with melting point of at least 300 DEG C, 20-70 percent of at least one filling material, 2-20 percent of low-melt-index polycarbonate and 0-5 percent of other additives, wherein the melt index of the low-melt-index polycarbonate is 3-6 g / 10 min under the conditions of 300 DEGC and 1.2 kg. The preparation method of the high-fluidity low-warpage liquid crystal polymer composition comprises the following steps of: pre-drying the thermotropic liquid crystal polymer and the polycarbonate to control the water content to be within 0.02 percent; uniformly mixing the dried thermotropic liquid crystal polymer and polycarbonate and the other additives and then adding into an extruder from an extruder main feed port; adding the filling material from a rear section of a cylinder; performing melt extrusion; and granulating. The composition can meet the requirements on super high fluidity of a material during thin wall forming; and an obtained product has low warpage and high wear resistance and can be widely applied to the fields of electronic and electrical industries, automobiles, household appliances, aerospace, other industrial applications.
