Abstract

The invention relates to a productive method used for extracting a mint oil of mentha haplocalys briq. The method comprises the following steps: raw material selection, wherein overground parts of the mint are picked up in every last ten-days period of July in Haozhou region of Anhui province; and mint oil extraction, wherein dry samples of the mint are filled in a container and immersed in n-hexane for 5 hours, then the mixture is irradiated by microwaves for 40 seconds in a microwave generation device, and the mint volatile oil is collected by fractionation with a negative pressure fractionation device. Compared with traditional methods, the method is characterized in that the extraction rate of the mint oil is higher; that compounds contained in the mint oil are more various in kind, which can reflect the real natural fragrance of the mint; and that the extraction time is shorter, with lower energy consumption and costs. By the method, to an extreme extend, not only the oil extraction rate is improved, but also energy saving and emission reduction are realized.
