Abstract

The invention relates to a plant bactericide prepared from traditional Chinese medicinal materials. The preparation method of the plant bactericide comprises the following steps: dissolving 5-10g of borneol in ethanol; dissolving 10-15g of alum and 5-8g of iodine in water, and then adding into the borneol ethanol solution to obtain a mixed solution; dissolving 75-90g of angelica, 70-90g of peppermint, 100-120g of gromwell, 100-120g of radix geutianae and 120-140g of herba schizonepetae in water, decocting, distilling, and taking out fractions; adding the fractions into the mixed solution to obtain a plant bactericide solution; and solidifying the solution with edible alkali, and regulating the pH value to obtain plant bactericide powder. According to the invention, the alum and the iodine dissolved in water are added into the borneol dissolved in ethanol, so that the problem that crystals are dissolved out when water is added into the borneol dissolved in ethanol is solved. Field tests prove that the bactericide can effectively prevent and control downy mildew and blossom-end rot of cucumbers and tomatoes; the effects of fruit retention, fruit swelling and plant swelling are achieved; the used raw materials are non-toxic, have no harm to the plants and are safe to people and livestock; no waste water is discharged in the production; and the ecological environment is protected.
