Problems solved by technology

It can solve the problem of TDMA time slot synchronization in the Ad Hoc network to a certain extent, but because each node in the network sends a large number of time synchronization messages, unnecessary overhead is generated
In addition, because the time of the master control node in the network is used as the time slot synchronization reference of the entire network, and the clock information of this node cannot be guaranteed to be accurate, the scalability is not strong
At the same time, if the master control node fails, the entire protocol will fail
In addition, the technology is not suitable for long-distance wireless mesh networks

Embodiment Construction

[0018] The present invention will be described in further detail below through specific embodiments and accompanying drawings. The following embodiments are only descriptive, not restrictive, and cannot limit the protection scope of the present invention.

[0019] How to ensure the clock synchronization of each node and the clock synchronization between interfaces of the same node is a key factor determining network performance. Therefore, a long-distance wireless mesh network MAC protocol ST-TDMA (Satellite Timing-TDMA) based on satellite timing is proposed. like figure 2 Shown, basic principle of the present invention is:

[0020] (1) Use satellite timing for synchronization.

[0021] A satellite positioning module with timing function is deployed at each node, and the precise clock of the satellite positioning module is used to realize clock synchronization among nodes and between different interfaces of the same node. After the node is started, it reads the clock of th...

Abstract

The invention discloses a long-distance wireless mesh network media access control (MAC) protocol based on satellite time service. The MAC protocol comprises a plurality of interface nodes. The nodes are interconnected by a plurality of embedding hardware devices through a switchboard. Each embedding hardware device is provided with a wireless network card, each node is provided with a satellite location module with the time service function, and the nodes read clocks of the satellite location modules after being started and conduct clock synchronization at regular intervals later. The accurate clocks of the satellite location modules are utilized to achieve synchronization of clocks between different interfaces of the same node between the nodes. All the nodes in the network work on the same information channel, different interfaces of one node are located at the transmitting or receiving state, namely the interfaces transmit or receive data simultaneously. Accumulation acknowledgement character (ACK) transmission mechanisms are configured. Each time gap length is provided with one accumulation ACK transmission mechanism. Compared with the prior art, the protocol does not require signaling bags, is simple and easy in synchronization and can ensure transmission reliability and efficiency.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of wireless mesh networks, in particular to a system and a method for realizing the sub-slot MAC protocol type of a long-distance wireless mesh network based on satellite timing and TDMA. Background technique [0002] IEEE 802.11-based long-distance wireless mesh network LDmesh (Long-Distance wireless mesh networks) refers to a wireless mesh network in which the link distance between adjacent nodes is very long (as long as dozens to hundreds of kilometers), and its nodes use cheap High-power IEEE 802.11 wireless network card and high-gain directional antenna to achieve long-distance signal coverage. like figure 1 As shown in , a node is usually formed by interconnecting multiple embedded hardware devices (such as wireless routing devices) through a switch (Hub). Each embedded hardware device is equipped with an 802.11 wireless network card, which is called the interface of the node, so the node is also cal...
