Abstract

A control circuit for a power factor correction (PFC) power converter comprises a pulse width modulation circuit, an amplifier, a detection circuit and a capacitor, wherein the pulse width modulation circuit generates a switch signal according to a loop signal, the amplifier couples to receive a switch current to generate the loop signal, the detection circuit generate a mode signal which couples to change output impedance of the amplifier, the capacitor couples with the amplifier, and the switch signal couples to switch an inductance of the PFC power converter and generate the switch current.
