Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a device for coating polyimide solution. The method includes placing a glass substrate on a support surface and enabling the glass substrate to be in surface contact with the support surface; heating the glass substrate via the support surface so that the temperature of the glass substrate reaches a preset coating temperature; and coating the polyimide solution on the glass substrate. The method and the device have the advantages that the diffusion speed of the polyimide solution and the evaporation speed of solvents can be increased during coating by heating the glass substrate before the polyimide solution is coated on the glass substrate, the temperature uniformity and the temperature consistency are controlled advantageously, and cloud-shaped spots are prevented; and the glass substrate is sufficiently heated advantageously owing to the fact that the glass substrate is in surface contact with a support plate, the problem that an existing glass substrate is heated unevenly when the existing glass substrate is in point contact with support feet can be avoided, and foot-shaped spots are prevented.
