Abstract

The invention discloses a motor vehicle gas treater. Solid urea can be put into the interior of a main body unit. When a controller detects that the vehicle tail gas contains oxynitride, the controller controls the main body unit to operate, namely a heat device heats the solid urea in the main body unit and the solid urea is generated into ammonia gas. The ammonia gas can be output from an ammonia gas outlet. The ammonia gas enters into a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) box body, wherein the SCR box body is communicated with the ammonia gas. The ammonia gas and the oxynitride in the vehicle tail gas can be in a redox reaction in a metal carrier of the SCR box body to generate pollution-free nitrogen gas and steam. The tail gas can be exhausted from an air outlet pipe of the other end of the SCR box body, wherein the tail gas is cleaned. The motor vehicle tail gas treater adopts the solid urea, and the solid urea can be not frozen in a low temperature. The motor vehicle tail gas treater is extremely convenient to store and carry, compared with liquid urea in an existing technology, the solid urea is larger in storing volume in a urea tank and long in using time. On the other hand, in the working process, the urea is changed form a solid state to a gaseous state. Therefore, the urea cannot slit up a connecting pipe.
