The dry milling manufacturing method of the aluminum powder pigment consists of the steps of: ball milling, grading screening, first stage finished product synthesis and second stage finished product synthesis. In the invention, a macromolecular coupling agent with a coordination group is adopted as a protective agent, the stearic acid plays a milling assisting role, and the milling means is changed overall. The method employs graded constant speed impact-free milling, three-level screening, and two-stage discharge to improve the diameter-thickness ratio and particle uniformity of the product. Nitrogen cooling and automatic temperature control protection are adopted as supplementary means to reduce the phenomenon of aluminum powder oxidation rate increase caused by temperature rise during preparation, and the likely surface oxidation problem in an aluminum powder processing process can be effectively solved, so that the sheet aluminum powder pigment with strong oxidation resistance, durable color and adjustable brightness. Also, according to demands and through corresponding blending, production of products with a variety of specification standard particle sizes can be realized.
