Abstract

The invention relates to a determination method of Kiwi berry fruit suitable harvesting stage, which comprises the steps of 1) calculating fruit growth days by taking full flowering stage as a mark, and harvesting fruit in batch regularly from an early ripe period to a fully ripe period; 2) selecting Kiwi berry fruit well grown; 3) refrigerating the fruits harvested at different periods under same condition; 4) comparing difference of storability, disease resistance and quality of fruits of different harvesting stages based on a determination of rate of weight loss, decay rate, cold injury rate and cold injury index at warehouse-out, and quality index relevant to rear ripe fruits under normal temperature like sugar-acid ratio and VC content; and 5) obtaining optimum harvesting maturity and quality index based on difference between storability, disease resistance and quality of fruits harvested in different stages. The method provided by the invention provides basis for building corresponding Kiwi berry postharvest technology system and formulating scientific and perfect harvesting operation rules, which provides reliable evidence and method with strong operationality for determining an optimum harvesting stage in production.
