Abstract

The invention provides a design method of an engineered material arresting system of an airfield runway. The design method includes confirming mechanical property of arresting materials according to mechanical property curve of the arresting materials, confirming force provided by the arresting materials on undercarriages at the moment according to depth of the arresting materials pressed by the undercarriages of a flight at the last moment, describing dynamic behaviour in vertical direction of the undercarriages according to kinetic simulation of shock struts of the undercarriages, confirming lift force, resistance and pitch moment on the flight at the moment through flight aerodynamic force simulation, confirming kinematic parameter of the flight through kinematic simulation of the flight, confirming stopping distance, flight kinematic parameter and force on the undercarriages by simulating until the flight shuts off, and judging whether to adjust an arresting system design scheme. On the basis of flight stopping distance, the design method is capable of accurately calculating loads on the undercarriages of the flight, so that safety of the undercarriages is convenient to evaluate in the arresting system design, and an arresting system design plan meeting requirements can be convenient to make.
