Abstract

The method is characterized by including: 1) grinding solid acrylic resin into fine powder able to pass through a 120-mesh sieve; 2) under mechanical stirring, adding water, ethanol, ethylene glycol butyl ether, ammonia water and a defoaming agent into a stainless steel container in order; 3) under mechanical stirring, adding solid acrylic powder resin slowly and making it fully dispersed into transparent and viscous liquid resin, and conducting packaging with a vat to make the product used for paint making. The preparation method provided by the invention has the advantages of simple process, good production stability, effectively shortened reaction time, stable product performance, and good economical efficiency. The acrylic waterborne resin prepared by the method is comparable with equal oil resin from the aspects of performance, appearance and cost, so that replacing oil paint by water paint becomes possible, and the safety and environmental problems of oily paint are effectively solved.
