The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: (1) tree stock and scion selection, namely selecting an acer mono seedling which grows strongly as a tree stock and an annual red maple branch as a scion; (2) grafting time and method, namely cutting the red maple branch to 8-9cm during the period from the last third of March to the first third and middle third of April, dipping a molten paraffin solution to form a thin paraffin layer on the surface of the branch; (3) approach grafting, namely putting the acer mono which is planted in a pot in the first year and serves as the tree stock beside a red maple mother plant, selecting a red maple branch with thickness similar to that of the tree stock, cutting grafting parts of the tree stock and the scion to parts which are 2.5-3.5cm below cambium layers, prying out barks, then aligning and adhering two cambium layers at the cut surfaces of the tree stock and the scion together; (4) management after grafting.
