Abstract

The invention discloses a ferrite-based MIMO (multiple input multiple output) terminal antenna comprising a rectangular dielectric slab, an earthing metal plate, the cuboid-shaped ferrite, a main antenna and a diversity antenna. The earthing metal plate is attached to one surface of the dielectric slab. The cuboid-shaped ferrite is attached to the other surface of the dielectric slab. The main antenna is attached to the ferrite. The diversity antenna is attached to the dielectric slab. The diversity antenna and the main antenna are arranged at opposite angle points of the dielectric slab. According to the arrangement, the ferrite is introduced and surrounded by the main antenna, due to high permeability and permittivity of the ferrite within 0.5GHz-3 GHz, size of the main antenna is narrowed greatly, expanded bandwidth is covered, and the miniaturization and multi-frequency problem of the conventional terminal antenna is solved; the diversity antenna is arranged at the opposite corner of the dielectric slab, high isolation of the MIMO antenna system is achieved with high application value.
