Abstract

The invention provides a coating adhesive for production of coated iron. The coating adhesive comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of prepolymer, 32.5-53.5 parts of a curing agent, 2-3 parts of a silane coupling agent, 1-2 parts of a flatting agent, 8-10 parts of EVA emulsion and 5-7 parts of acrylate emulsion, wherein the prepolymer is a mixture of polyester glycol and isophorone diisocyanate in a molar ratio of 1:1; and the curing agent is prepared from 30-50 weight parts of castor oil and 2.5-3.5 weight parts of diethylene glycol. The invention further provides a method for producing the coating adhesive. The coating adhesive produced by the method has excellent metal adhesion, is environment-friendly, and does not have pollution.
