Abstract

Disclosed is a method for machining concentric holes of a variable shell of an axial plunger pump. The variable shell is fixed to a tool clamp, and a diamond honing and reaming stick is connected to a main shaft of a numerical control boring and reaming machine through a conical face and a floating loose joint and is used for machining the concentric holes, with the different diameters, of the variable shell; the diamond honing and reaming stick can be in three specifications including a coarse concentric honing and reaming stick, a semi-fine concentric honing and reaming stick and a fine concentric honing and reaming stick; and the coarse concentric honing and reaming stick, the semi-fine concentric honing and reaming stick and the fine concentric honing and reaming stick are used for three different machining working procedures including coarse machining, semi-fine machining and fine machining of the concentric holes of the variable shell respectively, and finally the overall machining process of the concentric holes of the variable shell is completed. The requirement for the cylindricity tolerance value of 0.005 mm between the concentric holes D and d and the axiality tolerance value of 0.01 mm between the concentric holes D and the d are met. The precision of the centric holes, machined according to the method, of the variable shell meets the design requirement and is not affected by manual work; and meanwhile, the labor intensity of workers is relieved, the production efficiency is improved, and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
