The method comprises the following steps that a tool restraining box is fixed, a tool is inserted in the tool restraining box to enable a tool nose to make contact with the surface of the outer circle of the output shaft of the bucket-wheel speed reducer, the output shaft of the bucket-wheel speed reducer is driven to rotate clockwise, the tool nose on the tool moves rightwards till an included angle ranging from five degrees to ten degrees is formed between the tool nose and the vertical center line of the output shaft, the bucket-wheel speed reducer is driven continuously, and then the grooves are cut in the output shaft of the bucket-wheel speed reducer.
