Abstract

The invention discloses a transmission method in an embodiment. The transmission method comprises: if a terminal in a long-term evolved network needs to transmit uplink data using an unauthorized frequency band, notifying a base station and receiving a resource distribution notification message returned by the base station, wherein the resource distribution notification message contains resource block information distributed to the terminal by the base station; calculating the average power corresponding to the width of the frequency band according to the resource block information; judging whether the average power reaches a preset channel busy/idle state threshold; and performing service transmission using the resource distributed by the base station if the average power does not reach the preset channel busy/idle state threshold. The embodiment of the invention further discloses a terminal. As long as the transmission method is adopted, the LTE network can be compatible with the existing networks using the unauthorized frequency bands.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of communication technologies, in particular to a transmission method and a terminal. Background technique [0002] With the rapid increase of communication traffic, the spectrum licensed by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3rd Generation Partnership Project, 3GPP for short) appears to be less and less sufficient to provide higher network capacity. In order to further improve the utilization of spectrum resources, 3GPP is discussing how to use unlicensed spectrum, such as 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, with the help of licensed spectrum. These unlicensed spectrums are currently mainly used by systems such as Wireless-Fidelity (Wi-Fi for short), Bluetooth, radar and medical treatment. Compared with networks such as Wi-Fi, the Long Term Evolution (LTE) network operating in the unlicensed frequency band has the ability to provide higher spectral efficiency and greater coverage effect, while allowing dat...
