Abstract

The invention relates to a method for removing scales on surface of wool and belongs to the technical field of spinning. The method includes: disposing to-be-treated wool into a mixed solution of oxidant and alcohol for soaking to remove the scales on the surface of the wool; heating the mixed solution to volatilize the oxidant and the alcohol to obtain dry wool with the scales removed; repeatedly cleaning the dry wool by using an alcohol solution, and drying the cleaned wool to obtain the wool with the scales on the surface removed. A heating method is adopted to enable the solution formed by the oxidant and the alcohol for removing the wool scales to be volatilized and removed. The problem of water pollution caused by conventional methods for removing the scales on the surface of the wool is solved. In addition, the method is simple to operate, low in cost and good in wool scale removing effect, and change on physical performance of the wool after being treated by the method is small.

Description

technical field

[0001] The invention relates to a method for removing wool surface scales, belonging to the technical field of textiles. Background technique

[0002] Wool is a natural protein fiber and an important raw material for the textile industry. The various excellent properties of wool allow it to be spun into various high-grade fabrics. However, the unique scale layer structure on the surface of wool fiber tends to cause the fabric to shrink and deform due to the directional friction effect during washing, and the weave pattern is blurred. The existence of scales also makes wool products need to be dyed at a higher temperature, which not only affects the excellent performance of wool, but also increases energy consumption. In addition, pure wool clothing has an itchy feeling during wearing, and it is easy to cause static electricity in a dry environment, which affects the comfort of wearing. In order to overcome the above shortcomings, wool often needs to be sca...

Examples

Embodiment 1

[0019] a Take 1g of wool to be treated and add it to a mixed solution consisting of 3.3g of bromine and 6.7g of methanol and soak for 0.5h to remove the scales on the surface of the wool;

[0020] b. Take out the wool from which the surface scales have been removed, and wash it repeatedly with an alcohol solution for 3 times, and then dry the washed wool at 50° C. to obtain the wool from which the surface scales have been removed.

Embodiment 2

[0022] a Take 1g of wool to be treated and add it to a mixed solution consisting of 10g of bromine and 90g of ethanol and soak for 12 hours to remove the scales on the surface of the wool;

[0023] b. Take out the wool from which the surface scales have been removed, and wash it repeatedly with an alcohol solution for 3 times, and then dry the washed wool at 50° C. to obtain the wool from which the surface scales have been removed.

Embodiment 3

[0025] a Take 1g of wool to be treated and add it to a mixed solution consisting of 4g of iodine and 16g of ethanol and soak for 0.5h to remove the scales on the surface of the wool;

[0026] b. Take out the wool from which the surface scales have been removed, and wash it repeatedly with an alcohol solution for 3 times, and then dry the washed wool at 50° C. to obtain the wool from which the surface scales have been removed.
