Embodiment Construction

[0023] Now in conjunction with embodiment, accompanying drawing, the present invention will be further described:

[0024] The technical solution of the present invention is based on the basic principle of in-situ generation of strengthening particles in the magnesium alloy melt, but if the reaction gas nitrogen is simply introduced into the magnesium alloy melt, the strengthening phase cannot be formed in the magnesium alloy melt ALN, but only a thin layer of ALN can be formed on the surface of the melt. Due to the passivation of ALN, it is difficult to form ALN inside the alloy melt. This is also the core of the inability of this technology to continue to develop at home and abroad. Aiming at this principle, the present invention designs the preparation device ingeniously: firstly, a heat preservation chamber is installed on the upper part of the vacuum chamber, which effectively solves the problems of air leakage and air entry caused by the up and down movement of the gas tu...

Abstract

The invention relates to an in-situ reinforcement preparation method and device for a high-strength and high-ductility casting magnesium-based composite material. Mg-9%Al alloy is adopted as matrix alloy, N2 gas is introduced in an alloy melt in a vacuum smelting resistance furnace, so that the N2 gas and the alloy melt are in gas/gas and gas/liquid reaction, AlN particles evenly distributed are formed in the alloy melt in situ, and therefore the AlN/Mg composite material with the highest extension strength of 193 Mpa and elongation with 14% is prepared. The process and preparation device have the characteristics of being easy to operate, environmentally friendly, low in cost, small in energy consumption and short in preparation period. The strength and ductility of the prepared magnesium-based composite material are superior to those of corresponding Mg-Al alloy (AZ91D), and density is smaller.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a preparation technology of a casting magnesium-based composite material, in particular to improving the performance of a magnesium alloy by in-situ generation of strengthening particles to obtain a magnesium alloy material with excellent performance. Background technique [0002] The invention uses the principle of in-situ generation of evenly distributed strengthening phases in the alloy melt to improve or improve the properties of the alloy, and is mainly used for preparing aluminum-based and magnesium-based composite materials. The in-situ strengthening technology in the present invention is relatively mature in application to aluminum alloys, and some industrial productions have already taken place. However, due to the shortcomings of magnesium alloys such as flammability and easy oxidation, the technology of in-situ generation of strengthening phases only stays in the laboratory stage, and because the properties of the fo...
