Abstract

A separator plate which divides the inside of the disc body into a first section and a second section is arranged across the middle of the disc body. The first section and the second section are distributed side by side and bottoms of the two sections are communicated with each other. The first section is divided into an aerobic layer and a facultative layer. The second section is divided into a filter layer, a denitrification layer and an anaerobic layer. Film-forming packing materials with gradually reduced gaps are distributed in the aerobic layer, the facultative layer, the anaerobic layer and the denitrification layer. A water distribution pipe is also arranged in the aerobic layer. The filter layer is filled with filter cotton. A sidewall of the filter layer is provided with a row of overflow ports. The invention also includes a filtration system which is formed by parallel connection or series connection of the shallow-layer biological filter discs. The system has advantages of short construction cycle, low investment cost, convenience in operation, high treatment efficiency, complete function and flexible and convenient combination. With low energy consumption, pollutants in wastewater can be effectively removed so as to make effluent to be clarified.
