Problems solved by technology

To achieve 3D printing of NSDTF-DEM data, the most effective way is to convert it into STL files, but there is no direct conversion software available at present, so it is necessary to find the most suitable intermediate conversion software, not only to realize NSDTF-DEM Correct conversion of data to STL format, but also to ensure as little data loss as possible

Embodiment Construction

[0027] The specific implementation of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and implementation, but the implementation and protection of the present invention are not limited thereto.

[0028] by Figure 2aThe shown NSDTF-DEM data is an example, in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, the technical solution of the present invention is further specifically described, as figure 1 , the specific implementation steps are:

[0029] (1) The NSDTF-DEM data (see Figure 2a ) file header is rewritten to the format of the ArcInfoASCIIGrid file header (see Figure 2b ), and change the file suffix to TXT, where: yllcorner (txt) =yllcorner (dem) -nrows×cellsize.

[0030] (2) In ARCGIS, use the "ASCII to Raster" tool to convert the DEM data in TXT format into a raster form, and then use the "Raster Calculation" tool to restore the enlarged elevation value in the DEM data in the raster form , and save the restored DEM...

Abstract

The invention discloses a paper base three-dimensional printing method based on NSDTF-DEM data. The method comprises the steps that firstly, the NSDTF-DEM data are converted into DEM data of an ArcInfo ASCII Grid format; secondly, three-dimensional surface constructing of the DEM data is conducted according to the grid calculation principle and the regular grid generating triangular mesh curved surface algorithm, and three-dimensional modeling of the DEM data is conducted according to the three-dimensional surface through the methods of shifting, stretching and cutting; and finally, the three-dimensional model of the DEM is layered according to the equal layer thickness layering principle, the three-dimensional model of the DEM is printed and output through the paper base three-dimensional printing method. According to the paper base three-dimensional printing method, the modeling process of the DEM data is rapid, stable and high in precision, the three-dimensional printing time is shortened, and environment protection is achieved; moreover, other backing materials are not needed in the printing process, the obtained three-dimensional printing model can completely present the three-dimensional morphology of digital elevation model data, and the printing precision of mountains and rivers is also high.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of digital elevation model (Digital Elevation Model, DEM for short) entity modeling, in particular to a paper-based 3D printing method based on NSDTF-DEM data. Background technique [0002] Geographic information data is a vectorized symbol that describes and measures geographic objects in a certain way. Digital Elevation Model (Digital Elevation Model, referred to as DEM) is a solid ground model that expresses ground elevation in the form of a set of ordered numerical arrays. It is a typical geographic information data. DEM data plays a very important role in surveying and mapping, hydrology, meteorology, landform, geology, soil, engineering construction, communication, military and other national economy and national defense construction, as well as humanities and natural sciences. In engineering construction, it can be used for earthwork measurement Calculation and visual analysis can be used for hydrologi...
