The invention relates to a method for rapidly and selectively culturing a cold-resistant high-quality king rice variety in a rice growing region of Heilongjiang. The method comprises the following technological steps of: by utilizing a high-quality gene variety containing medium amylose content, flexible gel consistency and fragrance as a donor parent, and a main cultivar variety of Heilongjiang as a receptor recurrent parent, performing one-generation hybridization and one-generation backcrossing so as to obtain BC1F1; performing SSR analysis on genetic background of BC1F1 single plants, screening out a plant which contains target genes and more receptor genetic backgrounds to backcross with the recurrent parent so as to obtain BC2F1; obtaining BC3F1 by use of a same method; performing SSR analysis on genetic background of BC3F1 single plants, screening out a plant which contains target genes and more receptor genetic backgrounds, and bagging for selfing, thereby obtaining BC3F2; performing SSR analysis on genetic background of BC3F2 single plants, screening out a plant which contains homozygous target genes and more receptor genetic backgrounds, meanwhile performing cold-resistant screening and identification by use of a 72-hour cold water pooling method before about 15 days of head sprouting, and performing rice quality detection and identification in a laboratory.
