The invention relates to a manufacturing method of a building material, in particular to an ecological fire preventing and heat insulating building material used for fabricating a wall board. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: adding 30-100 parts of water to 100 parts of Portland cement and stirring the water and the cement; introducing 30-1,000 parts of foams generated by a foaming agent to the obtained mixture; then adding 50-600 parts of perlite, 80-700 parts of ceramsite, 10-200 parts of glass beads and 0.1-5 parts of environmental protection fibers to the foams; pouring the mixture into a board mould; and after the mixture is naturally solidified, removing the board mould and a lining board to finish manufacturing the ecological fire preventing and heat insulating building material. Fire preventing and environmental-friendly materials are adopted as raw materials, thus after being used as the wall board, the building material enables the wall board to have obvious advantages of heat preservation, heat insulation, sound insulation and light weight. Meanwhile, the material also has the advantages of fire prevention, corrosion resistance, firmness, toughness, no poison, no odor, no harm to human bodies and no pollution to environment.
