Abstract

The invention provides an insulating system of an optical cable extruding machine. The insulating system comprises a time delay, a temperature control unit and a temperature sensing unit. The time relay and the temperature sensing unit are connected with the temperature control unit through a circuit. The time relay records the shutdown time duration. When the shutdown time duration exceeds the shutdown time limit, the temperature control unit switches the temperature set value of each temperature area of the extruding machine into the drying temperature from the extrusion molding temperature, and after the temperature is reduced to the drying temperature, the temperature areas are in an insulating state. When starting is needed, the temperature control unit switches the temperature set value of each temperature area into the extrusion molding temperature from the drying temperature, and when the temperature of each temperature area reaches the extrusion molding temperature, the extruding machine has the startup condition, wherein the shutdown time limit is determined according to heat-resisting plasticizing time of different extrusion materials. By means of the insulating system, the production temperature can be rapidly obtained through heating, and the production efficiency is improved.
