Abstract

The invention provides a vertical-axis wind generating set which comprises blades, a spindle, a permanent-magnetic direct-drive generator, a base and a power electronic device. The spindle is installed on the base. The blades are arranged around the spindle. Each blade is of a curved surface structure and is installed on the spindle through an installation side edge, and therefore the spindle can be driven to rotate through rotation of the blades. The spindle is connected to the permanent-magnetic direct-drive generator in a coupled mode, and thus the mechanical energy of the spindle can be transferred to the permanent-magnetic direct-drive generator when the spindle rotates. The permanent-magnetic direct-drive generator is used for converting the received mechanical energy into electric energy so as to generate induced currents, and transferring the generated induced currents to the power electronic device. The power electronic device is used for conducting rectification and inversion on the induced currents and transferring the rectified and inverted electric energy to a power grid.
