Problems solved by technology

The disease resistance mechanism of banana Fusarium wilt is relatively complex, and there are many genes related to disease resistance. At present, there are still relatively few molecular methods that can be directly and effectively used in banana breeding. Therefore, it is urgent to speed up the development of banana disease-resistant biological breeding technology

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of plant molecular biology and particularly relates to an SCAR molecular marker and an identification method for identifying banana fusarium wilt resistance. By means of the SCAR molecular marking technology, a special strip of banana fusarium wilt susceptible varieties is screened out, a specificity primer is designed according to the sequence of the strip for specificity amplification, and the primer is converted into the SCAR molecular marker. The SCAR molecular marker and the method are used for identifying banana fusarium wilt resistance of banana varieties, provide a molecular assisting technology for banana disease-resistant new variety breeding, and can be further used for auxiliary screening of new banana varieties (strains) with banana tissue culture seedlings, banana field variant strains, chemically induced progenies and the like as screening populations.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of plant molecular biology, and in particular relates to a SCAR molecular marker for identifying banana fusarium wilt resistance and an identification method thereof. Background technique [0002] Banana is the fourth food crop in the world after rice, wheat, and corn. It is also the second largest fruit after citrus, and it is the fresh fruit with the largest fruit trade volume in the world. Banana Fusarium wilt is a devastating disease of banana and also an important quarantine disease. Since 1967, after my country first discovered race 4 of banana wilt in Taiwan, it has spread to Australia, Africa and some Asian countries, causing widespread concern at home and abroad. Fusarium wilt has also been found in major banana producing areas such as Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hainan, and Yunnan in China, and has become a major obstacle to the development of the banana industry (You Chunping, 2008, Journal of Hu...
