Abstract

The invention discloses a dust treatment method adopted during smelting of a submerged arc furnace. The dust treatment method comprises the following steps that (1) a dust collecting hood is adopted for hooding an area needing dust collection; (2) furnace gas is sucked into a water cooling flue through an air blower, cold air is mixed in the furnace gas, and carbonic oxide gas is preliminarily combusted; (3) the furnace gas enters a next water cooling flue, multiple paths of compressed air flow are sprayed out, and dust particles contained in the furnace gas are in a suspended state; (4) the furnace gas enters a combustion settling chamber, the temperature is raised to range from 400 DEG C to 450 DEG C, the flow speed of the furnace gas is reduced, large-particle dust carried in the furnace gas settles, cold air is mixed properly, and the carbonic oxide gas is thoroughly burnt out; and (5) the furnace gas enters a next combustion settling chamber, the interior of the combustion settling chamber communicates with a negative-pressure pipeline, and the dust particles in the suspended state in the combustion settling chamber are sucked into a collection device through negative-pressure air flow passing through the negative-pressure pipeline. According to the dust treatment method, the process is simple and scientific, the remarkable purification and dust removal effects are achieved on dust generated in the furnace gas of the submerged arc furnace, environment pollution is effectively reduced, and the dust treatment method is suitable for being utilized and popularized within a wide range.
