Embodiment Construction

[0092] The invention will now be described in detail with the aid of comparative examples and examples, which are summarized in Table 1.

[0093] Comparative mixtures are identified by V and inventive mixtures by E.

[0094] The manufacture of the mixture takes place in a tangential internal mixer in three steps under usual conditions. Samples were produced from all mixtures by optimized curing under pressure at 140° C. and the material properties typical for the rubber industry were determined from these samples with the test methods given below.

[0095] Shore A hardness at room temperature (RT) according to DIN ISO 7619-1

[0096] Rebound elasticity at room temperature (RT) and 70°C according to DIN 53 512

[0097] Stiffness at room temperature, elongation at break and stress value at 300% tension (M300) according to DIN 53504

[0098] The loss coefficient tanδ (delta tangent) is measured by temperature-dependent dynamic mechanics according to DIN 53 513, temperature swe...

Abstract

The invention relates to a rubber mixture, in particular for treads of vehicle tires and to vehicle tires. The rubber mixture contains at least the following components: at least one diene rubber and 30 to 150 phr of at least one soot which has a DBP number of 130 to 200 ml/100 g according to ASTM D 2414, an iodine adsorption number of 40 to 75 g/kg according to ASTM D 1510, and a distribution index DI of 1.00 to 1.10. DI is calculated from the particle size distribution (mass distribution by the Stokes diameter) determined by means of DCP (disk centrifuge photosediometer) according to formula I): I) DI = DW/Dmode. The rubber mixture exhibits an improved rolling resistance behavior and an improved abrasion behavior. The vehicle tire contains the rubber mixture in at least one component, preferably in the tread.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a rubber mixture, in particular for treads of vehicle tyres, and to a vehicle tyre. Background technique [0002] The rubber compound of the tread largely determines the running properties of the tire, especially a vehicle tire. Likewise, the rubber compound primarily used for belts, hoses or cords in locations subject to strong mechanical loads is primarily responsible for providing stability and durability to such rubber articles. Very high demands are therefore placed on these rubber compounds for vehicle tires, cords, belts and hoses. [0003] These mixtures are blended with various additives and / or special polymers are used in order to influence the mixture properties and the properties of the cured product. In this connection, mention may be made, for example, of fillers such as carbon black, softeners, anti-aging agents and crosslinking systems consisting of sulfur, accelerators and activators as additives. If one pro...
