The invention discloses a load demand response-based grid-connected micro power grid reliability assessment method comprising the following steps: an annual output curve of a micro power source in a micro power grid is determined; time-of-use electricity prices are made in a micro power grid island, and a response electricity price model for micro power grid users is built; a load satisfaction index MLs of new energy of the micro power grid can be determined according to output of the micro power source of the micro power grid and load power; a load demand response model is built based on four constraining factors that are electricity quantities of loads, electricity prices, power and user satisfaction over consumption habit change; an object function is min(1-MLS), a variable is a variable quantity [delta]p of electricity price at each time segment, a particle swarm algorithm is used for solving the load demand response model, a corrected load curve is obtained, and corrected load curve-based grid-connected micro power grid reliability can be determined based on a combined output mode of a micro power grid rack structure, energy storage equipment and a distributed power source. The grid-connected micro power grid reliability assessment method can help overcome defects of a conventional micro power grid reliability assessment algorithm and is suitable for micro power grid reliability assessment under load demand response strategies.
