The preparation method for the viscosity reducer comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing and stirring acrylamide, organic silicone quaternary ammonium salt containing double bond and solvent, thereby acquiring a mixed solution; introducing nitrogen, heating to 60-80 DEG C, adding an initiator while stirring, and then reacting for 5-12 hours at 60-80 DEG C, thereby acquiring a reaction solution; cooling the reaction solution and then putting into acetone or ethyl alcohol, performing suction filtration, soaking, washing and drying, thereby acquiring the heavy oil viscosity reducer.
