Abstract

An electro-osmosis sludge conditioner comprises a conditioning groove, a feeding pipe, a water discharge pipe, a residue discharge pipe, an electrode plate slot, electrode plates and a direct-current power supply, wherein the feeding pipe is arranged at the lower part of the feeding end of the conditioning groove; the water discharge pipe is arranged at the upper part of the discharging end of the conditioning groove; the residue discharge pipe is arranged at the lower part of the discharging end of the conditioning groove; the electrode plate slot is arranged in the conditioning groove; the electrode plates are arranged vertically; two electrode plates are in one pair; multiple pairs of electrode plates are arranged in parallel and at intervals; each electrode plate is parallel to the flowing direction of sludge mixed liquid; each electrode plate is inserted into the electrode plate slot; and the direct-current power supply is connected with the electrode plate slot. The electrode plates are arranged in the conditioning groove along the liquid flowing direction by utilizing a electro-osmosis principle, the electrode plates generate an electrostatic filed under the action of direct-current voltage, the electrostatic field compresses a double electrode layer on the surface of the sludge particles and greatly reduce the zeta potential of the sludge particle surface layer so as to separate out non-free water in the sludge from the sludge particles and transform the non-free water into free water.
