Abstract

The present application discloses a method for controlling the valve timing of a continuously variable valve continuous engine, and in particular relates to a method for controlling the valve timing of an engine. The method includes: dividing a plurality of control areas according to engine speed and engine load; In the first zone, the maximum duration is applied to the intake valves, and the exhaust valves are controlled to limit valve overlap; in the second zone, the intake and exhaust valves are controlled to maintain the maximum duration; in the third zone , advance the intake valve closing (IVC) timing and exhaust valve closing (EVC) timing; in the fourth zone, make the IVC timing close to the bottom dead center (BDC); in the fifth zone, control the throttle valve to fully open , advance the intake valve opening (IVO) timing before top dead center (TDC), and control the IVC timing so that it becomes a predetermined value after BDC; and in the sixth area, control the throttle valve to fully open, and advance IVC timing.
