Problems solved by technology

However, for the analysis of single-station RCS, the eigenbasis function method relies on a large number of incident plane wave excitations when constructing basis functions. The storage and solution of the reduced matrix also become difficult
[0004] One solution is the improved eigenbasis function method based on singular value decomposition (SVD-CBFM),

[0020] Step 1: According to the basic principle of the method of moments (MoM), the continuous integral equation of the target surface obtained by the analysis of the basic electromagnetic field theory is discretized into a matrix equation.

[0021] ZJ=V (1)

[0022] where Z ∈ C N×N is the impedance matrix, V∈C N×N is the incident plane wave excitation, J represents the corresponding coefficient matrix, and N represents the number of unknown quantities.

Abstract

The invention discloses an improved CBFM (Characteristic Basis Function Method)-based method for fast solving target monostatic electromagnetic scattering characteristics. According the method, firstly, redundant information existing in incident plane wave excitation is considered, and the redundant information content is removed by adopting an SVD (Singular Value Decomposition) algorithm; the coupling effect among sub-domains is fully considered, and a construction method of an ICBF (Improved Characteristic Basis Function) is provided; and the information of an original PCBF (Primary Characteristic Basis Function) and an SCBF (Secondary Characteristic Basis Function) is integrated in the ICBF, so that the current information on the surfaces of the sub-domains can be accurately represented. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the number of incident plane waves is reduced by utilizing the SVD algorithm; the number of CBFs is further reduced through constructing the ICBF; a constructed reduced matrix is small in dimension and easy to store and solve; and therefore, the method is very suitable for analyzing the monostatic electromagnetic scattering characteristics of electrically large size targets.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for quickly analyzing the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of a target single station, in particular to a method based on an improved CBFM algorithm to further reduce the number of basis function generation so as to quickly analyze the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of a target single station. Background technique [0002] The Method of Moments (MoM), as an effective method for analyzing the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of targets, has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad once it was proposed. However, when the method of moments is used to directly solve the target single-station RCS, the complexity is O(N 3 ) As the number N of unknown quantities increases sharply, the corresponding calculation efficiency becomes low. [0003] The Characteristic Basic Function Method (CBFM) is based on the block principle, divides the target into M subdomains, and defines characteri...
