Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for testing startup characteristics of an ultrasonic motor based on single electrode feedback. The device is composed of an ultrasonic motor, a single electrode signal detecting and processing module, a load disk, a weight, a transmission shaft, an external fixed pulley and a high-precision photoelectric encoder. The load is changed through changing the weight hanging mode of the external fixed pulley, and thus startup characteristics of the ultrasonic motor under different loads are tested. According to the method and device, a single electrode feedback signal is utilized to act as a starting point signal for testing the startup characteristics of the ultrasonic motor, that is, the moment when the signal is acquired is defined as a starting point of a startup characteristic test for the ultrasonic motor, and the moment when the output of the ultrasonic motor reaches 95% of the target speed act as a termination point of the startup characteristic test for the ultrasonic motor. At present, tests for the startup response time of the ultrasonic motor mainly use the moment when 5% of the average speed is reached of motor startup as a startup starting point, the method and device provided by the invention consider that the period of time from acquisition of an electric signal from the ultrasonic signal to the moment when 5% of the target speed is reached should also be included in the startup response time of the ultrasonic motor.
